How to Prevent Spoilage
It would be a shame to have to throw away wet food after just one day. To prevent this, it’s important to cover the canned food well and store it in the refrigerator.
If the wet food has been in the fridge for 2-3 days, throw it away. If your dog or cat doesn’t often enjoy a wet meal, you can also freeze it in portions.
