Don’t randomly choose dog kibble or wet food, but study the composition of the food. But what exactly should you look for? First, make sure meat is the first and most important ingredient, because no matter how healthy vegetables and fruit are; a high meat content is crucial for a healthy and happy dog. Animal proteins have many health benefits, such as optimal joint support and better muscle development. Moreover, meat keeps your dog's energy level up.

Other essential ingredients
As we mentioned earlier, dogs are omnivores. This means that your furry friend’s diet — besides animal proteins — must also contain fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. Calcium and phosphorus must not be missing from the composition; these minerals contribute to the immune system, vision, bones, and heart function. Indispensable for your dog’s health!
