Crispy Kibble or Pressed Kibble?

With so much dog food available, it can sometimes be hard to see the forest for the trees. You can choose between pressed kibble or crispy kibble. There are two different ways to produce dog kibble. The most common methods are pressing, expanding, and extruding (crispy). Unfortunately, there are many misconceptions about the pros and cons of crispy and pressed kibble. We won’t go into that further because one is not necessarily worse than the other. At Prima Diervoeding, we have consciously chosen crispy kibble because more meat can be added to these kibbles. On the other hand, pressed kibble contains more grains than meat. With this type of kibble, it is not always possible to add a lot of meat to the recipe.

Wet Food to Savor
